Aiken County, SC : Man seriously injured in single-vehicle wreck on Interstate 20 in Aiken County on Thursday, January 28, 2016

A one vehicle crash on I-20 has resulted in a driver being rushed to a local hospital with serious injuries.

The crash happened around 12:45 p.m. on I-20 eastbound near mile mark 3, in Aiken County.

A South Carolina Highway Patrol spokesperson tells us that 52-year-old Terry Hodges was driving a 2010 Chevy Camaro eastbound when he ran off the road into the median and struck the overhead sign.

He was transported to Augusta University Medical Center.

No charges will be filed because the cause of the accident has been determined to be medical-related.
