Bardstown, KY : Bloomfield man killed in Monday morning crash on Monday, January, 9th 2018

Treacherous roads from freezing rain Monday morning resulted in numerous accidents in Nelson County, including a fatality on Ky. 1066 near the Spencer County line around mile marker 5.

The victim of the fatal crash was William Douglas Cook Jr., 37, who lived on Ky. 1066.

“He had just left home” when the crash occurred, Coroner Field Houghlin said after talking with the victim’s family.
