New Orleans, LA : 37-year-old woman dead in a hit-and-run accident on Interstate 10 on Sunday on December 21, 2014

New Orleans police are investigation a hit-and-run accident that left a 37-year-old woman dead. The accident happened around 9:30 p.m. Sunday on Interstate 10. Police say the unidentified victim was westbound when her SUV was struck by another vehicle. Investigators say the victim then exited her vehicle and was crossing the interstate when a pickup swerved to avoid striking her causing his vehicle to spin around and was hit by several car. Police say the woman was hit at some time during the accident. Investigators are looking for a black or dark blue SUV bearing Mississippi license plate number K87155.
