Gaffney, SC : Car crashed into a tree and an apartment on early Sunday morning August 3rd 2014
The SC Highway Patrol and the Gaffney Police Department are investigating after a car crashed into a tree and an apartment.
LCpl. Bill Rhyne with the SC Highway Patrol said a the crash happened along East junior High School Road around 2:20 a.m. Sunday.
The car, a 2014 Nissan registered to Enterprise Rent-A-Car, ran off the left side of the road, then hit a tree, and then crashed into a building at the Connecticut Village apartment complex, Rhyne said.
The driver and a passenger were both hospitalized, Rhyne said.
Rhyne said troopers and Gaffney police were in pursuit of the vehicle prior to the crash, but said reports do not indicate there was a chase.
Rhyne said there was not yet word about any charges.
