Clinton,WI : Tanker accident causes delay on Highway 140 south of Clinton on April, saturday 29th 2017

An accident involving a vehicle and an empty tanker truck has caused a delay on Highway 140 south of Clinton.

The crash, located near Highway 140 and Highway 67, was reported at 1:21 p.m., a Rock County Communications Center spokeswoman said.

She did not have details on what caused the crash. The tanker truck was in a ditch, but the spokeswoman did not know whether it was overturned.

The spokeswoman, who declined to give her name, said it was "not a significant" crash but would cause backups until the truck could be removed. Medical personnel were checking for injuries, but the spokeswoman had no further details.
