A Kahoka teen was taken Sunday by Air Evac to Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Ill., after a crash in Clark County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports a 2000 Ford Taurus driven by Alyssa R. Mathes, 17, was crossing Mo. 27 westbound at St. Francisville at 9:20 p.m. and failed to yield to a northbound vehicle driven by Jason M. Hale, 40, of Alexandria. The vehicle Mathes was driving was struck on the driver's side. Mathes, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected, the patrol said.
The patrol was assisted by the Clark County Sheriff's Department and the Clark County Ambulance.
