Sumter, SC : 40-year-old Irmo man was pronounced dead in Rembert on Friday,15th April 2018

A 40-year-old Irmo man was pronounced dead in Rembert on Friday from injuries sustained during a wreck on U.S. 521 North at Scenic Lake Drive, according to a release from Sumter County Coroner's Office.

An autopsy for James Lancaster, of Arbor Springs Drive, Irmo, will be scheduled for a later date in Newberry. Next of kin have been notified.

South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
