Windham, N.H : Carmen Rozon, 74, seriously injured in hit-and-run accident in Windham on Saturday, September 27, 2014

Authorities say a car hit an elderly woman walking on the side of the road in Windham, and then took off. New Hampshire State Police responded to a report of hit-and run-accident on I-93 South that seriously injured Carmen Rozon of Lawrence. Witnesses say that the 74-year-old was walking in or near the left travel lane when a car struck her. The vehicle was described as a light-colored sedan, which stopped briefly before leaving the scene. Rozon was transported to Lawrence General Hospital with serious injuries. Police are seeking to identify the driver in this accident, and are asking anyone who may have witnessed the accident to contact them.
