CLARENCE, MO : Clarence man seriously injured in head-on crash on Tuesday, 10th September 2019

A Clarence man was seriously injured in a head-on crash Tuesday morning on Mo. 151 in Clarence.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said that a 1985 Dodge 1500 driven by Allen T. Pryor, 38, of Clarence, was traveling north and crossed the center line at 10:40 a.m., striking head on a 2002 Ford E-250 driven by Daniel W. Hays, 46, of Clarence.

Pryor, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken by Salt River Ambulance to Hannibal Regional Hospital with serious injuries. Hays, who was wearing a seat belt, was to seek treatment on his own for minor injuries.

The patrol was assisted by the Shelby County Sheriff's Department and Clarence Fire Department.
