LAKE WORTH BEACH, FL : Delray man, 21, succumbs to injuries in Lake Worth Beach motorcycle crash on Tuesday, 28th April, 2020

A 21-year-old Delray Beach man has died from injuries he sustained last week in a motorcycle crash in Lake Worth Beach, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office reports.

Alec Vincent Dibetetto died at a hospital Tuesday, more than a week after crashing his 2020 Tao motorcycle on South Federal Highway.

According to a crash report, Dibetetto was driving south on the 1600 block of South Federal when he failed to maintain his lane and struck a curb on the west side of the roadway.

The motorcycle mounted the curb and struck a metal fence. Dibetetto was thrown from the bike, PBSO said in its crash report. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
