Las Vegas, NV : One person critically injured in multivehicle crash at East Twain Avenue and Paradise Road on Wednesday, December 30, 2015

A person was critically injured today in a crash involving at least two vehicles at East Twain Avenue and Paradise Road, according to Metro Police.

The person was taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center after the crash, which was reported about 11:45 a.m., Officer Jesse Roybal said in a statement.

An electric pole and light pole were down in the area, and traffic signal outages have been reported at nearby intersections, he said.

NV Energy was investigating outages in the area, according to the utility’s Outage Center.

Eastbound Twain and southbound Paradise were closed in the vicinity, Roybal said.
