Phoenix, AZ : Bus hits car in fiery I-10 crash in Phoenix on Monday morning, October 13, 2014
One person was hospitalized after a car involved in a fender-bender that had been pulled over the side of Interstate 10 was struck by a passenger bus, causing it to burst into flames early Monday morning.
No one was in the car when it was struck by the bus that was headed to Tucson and then on to El Paso, an Arizona Department of Public Safety officer said.
A woman riding in the bus was taken to a nearby hospital, but there was no information on her condition.
The rest of the passengers were put on another bus to Tucson.
"What happened is someone said look out, so I hold myself to the seat and when I saw the car crash in the bus flying all away it looked all half and all burnt, it was like spinning," bus passenger Daniel Sanchez said.
The crash happened near 40th Street in Phoenix.
No other information was available.
