BRIGHTON, CO : 1 injured in morning crash in Brighton on Tuesday, 8th October 2024

A pedestrian was struck and killed by a driver early Tuesday morning in Brighton.

According to the Brighton Police Department, the driver reported the crash that happened about 5 a.m. on the frontage road on the west side of Interstate 76 between Bromley Lane and Bridge Street.

When officers arrived, they found the victim, a man, in the roadway with severe injuries. He later died from his injuries. The victim's identity is being withheld pending positive identification by the coroner’s office and notification of next of kin.
