LEHIGH ACRES, FL : Man arrested with DUI manslaughter after fatal crash in Lehigh Acres on Sunday, 2nd July 2023

The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) warns you not to drink and drive ahead of this Fourth of July after they responded to a deadly crash Sunday in Lehigh Acres.

“Now we have a tragedy,” FHP Lieutenant Greg Bueno said.

A bicyclist is dead in Lehigh after FHP said Zenaido Martinez Gomez hit them on Sunday.

“The driver of the Jeep initially stopped, exited his vehicle, surveyed the scene, and then left,” Bueno said.
