Des Moines, IA : Highways 146, 288 reopen after crashes prompt closures on Friday, 2nd September 2016

A pair of crashes shut down parts of two major Houston-area highways Friday morning. The first crash happened at 5:11 a.m. on State Highway 288 at Airline Road. According to officials, an Iowa Colony police officer was conducting a traffic stop and brought the driver of the vehicle between the police cruiser and the stopped vehicle to conduct a field sobriety test.
