CULLMAN, AL : One dead in crash on I-65 causing lane closures in Cullman Co. on Wednesday, 13th March 2024

Drivers traveling south through Cullman County Wednesday faced heavy delays along Interstate 65.

According to The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), all lanes on I-65 SB are now open after a multi-vehicle crash Wednesday morning caused the southbound lanes near the 306 mile marker to be shut down.

One eyewitness confirmed to WBRC the crash involved a FedEx truck blocking both lanes and part of the median.

The Cullman County Coroner has confirmed that Methuselah Kadigi, 53, of Pelham, has died as a result of the crash.
