Gadsden, AL : Etowah County man killed in crash on Monday, September 4, 2017

An Etowah County man lost his life in a single-vehicle crash Monday, according to Etowah County Sheriff Todd Entrekin.

Stanley Jacob Winston, 22, of Gadsden, died after the 2001 Nissan he was driving left the roadway and slid down an embankment, colliding with several trees, in the 1200 block of Owls Hollow Road.

Winston had been reported missing at approximately 4:54 a.m. on Monday. His vehicle was found wrecked at approximately 8:22 a.m. later the same day.
