SHARON, MA : Two cars collided head-on on Bay Road in Sharon on May, Monday, 22nd 2017

Two cars collided head-on on Bay Road in Sharon Monday afternoon, police said, sending three people to the hospital.

Sharon Fire Captain Bert Cummings said the cars crashed around 4:55 p.m near the intersection of Bay Road and Wilshire Drive.

Cummings said three victims, two men and one woman, were transported to the hospital by Sharon and Stoughton emergency personnel. One was taken to a hospital in Boston, while the other two were sent to Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton.

Cummings said the victims’ injuries appeared to be non-life threatening.

He said the cause of the crash is not yet known, and Sharon Police are investigating.
