WICHITA, KS : 2 injured in accident near 143rd Street and Central Ave on Thursday, 6th June 2019

Two people were injured, one critically, in an early-morning accident Thursday in east Sedgwick County.

Two vehicles were involved in an accident at 1:50 a.m. Thursday near 143rd Street and Central Ave.

Dispatchers tell KAKE One person was taken to the hospital in critical condition, while another person had serious injuries.

Authorities shut down Central between 143rd and the Kansas Turnpike.
