Granbury, TX : 18-year-old Glen Rose woman killed in a head-on crash on Weatherford Highway Tuesday, September 27, 2016

An 18-year-old Glen Rose woman was killed in a head-on crash Tuesday.

Victoria A. Flores died after the Kia she was driving collided with a Dodge at about 6:45 a.m. on Weatherford Highway, nearly seven miles outside of Granbury close to the intersection of Little Road.

Flores was traveling home from her job at a Weatherford hotel at the time of the incident, according to Texas Department of Public Safety Information Officer Dub Gillum.

The female driver of the Dodge was airlifted to John Peter Smith Hospital in Ft. Worth with serious injuries, according to Gillum.

The victim was declared dead at the scene by Hood County Justice of the Peace Dan Tuggle.

There were no other passengers in the vehicles.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
