BREVARD COUNTY, FL : I-95 reopens in Brevard County after fatal crash prompts southbound shutdown on Saturday, 3rd February 2024

A motorcyclist from Merritt Island was killed in a series of crashes involving five vehicles Saturday night on Interstate 95 in the Mims area, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The wreck occurred around 9:03 p.m. in the area of mile marker 223 (north of State Road 46), prompting a roadblock of I-95's southbound lanes which remained in place until 3:06 a.m. Sunday, troopers said.
