ROCHESTER, NH : Two-car crash sends drivers to hospital on Monday, December, 11th 2017
Both drivers involved in a late-afternoon crash Monday were transported to Frisbie Memorial Hospital.
At about 4:46 p.m., Rochester police, Rochester fire, and Frisbie EMS personnel responded to the area of 500 Gonic Road for a two-car motor vehicle collision.
According to police, Tanya Gouin, 32, of Springvale, Maine, was operating a Toyota Corolla traveling south on Gonic Road.
At that time Samantha Wade, 23, of Barnstead, was operating a Ford Escort and also traveling south on Gonic Road. The two vehicles collided as the Corolla was slowing to make a turn.
As a result of the collision both Gouin and Wade were transported to Frisbie Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
While emergency crews were on scene the southbound lane of Gonic Road was shut down.
