Chapel Hill , NC : One man was Critically injured after his Truck crashed and caught on fire at the Jaycee Burn Center on Sunday Morning , December 14th 2014

The man who was severely burned after his truck crashed and caught on fire is in critical condition at the Jaycee Burn Center in Chapel Hill. Pitt County Trooper Greg Koonce says the man's name is Mabiala Maurain Mabiala, 36. Neighbors refer to him as Maurain. The man is originally from the Republic of the Congo in Central Africa, but currently lives in Raleigh. Koonce says he has not determined where Mabiala was going or where he was coming from Saturday morning when the 10-wheeler he was driving went over a guard rail, turned over, and caught fire. Mabiala was traveling south on NC 11 just inside the Pitt County line, near Grifton. The man suffered severe burns to his lower body and was flown to Chapel Hill by way of helicopter.
