Camillus, NY : Motorcyclist dead after early sunday morning crash on Route 5 at West Genesee Turnpike in Camillus on October 5, 2014

Camillus police are investigating a fatal crash early Sunday morning on Route 5 at West Genesee Turnpike. Police responded to a crash with injuries at 5:11 a.m., the Onondaga County 911 Dispatch Center said. The lone motorcyclist involved in the crash died of his injuries, police said. Officers shut down the eastbound lanes of Route 5 until 9 a.m. The road is now open to traffic. More information on the crash was not immediately available.
