LOUISVILLE, KY : 1 dead after crash on Outer Loop, police investigating on Wednesday, 12th July 2023

A person is dead after a crash on Outer Loop Wednesday afternoon.

A Louisville Metro Police spokesperson said they received a call about a vehicle collision at Outer Loop and Briarcliff Road around 5:30 p.m.

That's near the Texas Roadhouse and Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen right off Interstate 65.

Police said a vehicle was going west on Outer Loop when it crossed over into the eastbound lanes. The reason why is unclear.
