LYNCHBURG, VA : Man in critical condition after hit-and-run in Lynchburg on Tuesday, 19th March 2024

The Lynchburg Police Department (LPD) says they are investigating a hit-and-run accident that put a man in the hospital with critical injuries on March 19.

LPD says that around 12:31 p.m. on Tuesday, a call was received regarding a man who was found lying face down on a curb. Officers arrived on the scene at the 600 block of Leesville Road to find 29-year-old Montchello Deondra Johnson of Lynchburg unresponsive with serious injuries.

Police say they believe Johnson was pushing a motorized minibike along the road when he was involved in a hit-and-run accident.
