Goshen, IN : Two people were injured during a rollover collision on May, Monday 8th 2017
Two people were injured Monday afternoon during a rollover collision one mile west of New Paris.
According to Elkhart County police, Anne Pierce, 61, Goshen, was traveling east on C.R. 46, west of Ind. 15 in a 2005 Lexus RX 330 around 4 p.m. Pierce failed to yield the right-of-way and pulled out in front of a 1998 Volkswagen Jetta driven by Rosario Ortiz-Ortiz, 29, Warsaw, who was traveling north on Ind. 15, according to police.
The Lexus rolled-over and collided with a 1996 Ford F-250 pickup truck driven by Jesse Mitchel, 18, New Paris.
Pierce was transported to Goshen Hospital for complaint of pain to her left side, cuts on her hand and non-life threatening injuries. A passenger in Pierce’s vehicle, Madison Keck, 8, was also transported to Goshen Hospital for complaint of pain to her arm and non-life threatening injuries.
Pierce was cited for failure to yield. Ortiz-Ortiz, who was uninjured, was cited and released for never receiving a license and no insurance.
