Quincy,IL : Quincy man dies in crash on September, Wednesday 20th 2017

A 61-year-old Quincy man died from injuries suffered in a crash about 4:30 p.m. Wednesday on Locust just east of 20th Street.

Adams County Coroner Jim Keller told The Herald-Whig on Wednesday night that Mark McGinley was pronounced dead in the Blessing Hospital emergency room shortly after the crash.

Keller said an autopsy will be performed.

The Herald-Whig’s news-gathering partners at WGEM reported that a black Ford Mustang driven by McGinley was heading west on Locust when it crossed the center line, struck a parked car facing east and flipped.
