Prairieville,LA : One man died in a single vehicle crash on westbound Interstate 10 Saturday, August 1st 2015

A Mississippi man has died in a single vehicle accident in Ascension Parish, according to Louisiana State Police.

State police say in a news release that the accident occurred about 3 a.m. Saturday on Interstate 10 westbound.

Police identified the victim as 28-year-old Seth Orcutt of Lorman, Mississippi.

Police say Orcutt's vehicle ran off the right side of the road and struck a tree on its driver's side. Orcutt was pronounced dead at the scene.

A toxicology test will be conducted by the Ascension Parish Coroner's Office.
