Prescott, AZ : Car crashes into Prescott office on Thursday, March 23rd 2017

A car crashed through the wall of an accounting office in the 1400 block of West Gurley Street Thursday afternoon.

The driver, a 70-year-old woman, was evaluated at the scene and did not require medical treatment, Prescott Police spokesman David Fuller said, and a 52-year-old woman in the office was struck with debris. She was treated at the scene.

Fuller said the driver accidentally mistook the gas pedal for the brake.

Drugs or alcohol do not appear to have been a factor in the crash, he added.

Because the crash happened on private property, no citations were issued.
