Birmingham, AL : Four people injured after a school bus collided with a SUV in Tarrant on Monday morning, April 3, 2017
Authorities say four people were hospitalized after a Birmingham school bus collided with a sport utility vehicle.
Al.com reports that two students and the drivers of both vehicles were taken to medical centers after the Monday morning crash.
Officials said the children’s injuries weren’t life-threating. The bus was on its way to Hudson K-8 school when it collided head-on into the SUV at Cedar Street and Bush Avenue in Tarrant at 7:49 a.m.
Police said the bus driver suffered minor injuries but that the driver of the car had more serious wounds.
The students were taken to Children’s of Alabama and the adults went to UAB Hospital.
