Officials say one man has been arrested after a head-on traffic collision on Popp's Ferry Bridge.
Multiple media outlets report that a statement from Biloxi police says 28-year-old William McKinnley Horner, of Gulfport, was taken into custody Tuesday following a head-on collision that left one driver severely injured.
Police say officers responding to the scene found an unidentified female driver with serious injuries. Authorities say the driver was transported to an area hospital and is in stable condition.
Police say Horner, who was the other driver involved in the accident, was arrested for suspicion of DUI.
Officials say Horner is being held at the Harrison County jail on bond. The accident remains under investigation.
