Fairfax,VI : Two dead, one hospitalized in Great Falls crash on September, Saturday 16th 2017

Fairfax County police say two adults, one male and one female, died in a crash in Great Falls Sept. 16 after their car ran off the road and hit a tree. Officers responded to the 10500 block of Beach Mill Road near Spring Vale around 7 p.m. for the report of a single-vehicle crash. Once on scene they located a white 2008 Infiniti Q50. The driver, 26-year-old, Benjamin Wenger, of Annandale, and a passenger, 23-year-old Abigail Ryan, of Great Falls, were pronounced dead on the scene. Another passenger, a 15-year-old female, who was in the backseat, was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Detectives from the Crash Reconstruction Unit are investigating the crash. Police say it appears that the Infiniti was traveling west on Beach Mill Road, when it left the roadway in a northbound direction. It then crossed back over the road toward the south and struck a tree. The investigation continues.

Police have not indicated whether speed or alcohol were factors in the crash.

Anyone who might have witnessed this crash is asked by FCPD to call the witness line at 703-280-0543, or the police non-emergency line at 703-691-2131.
