Coloma, WI : Wausau man dies in Waushara Co. crash on Tuesday morning, March 28, 2017

A Wausau man died in a car crash Tuesday morning in Waushara County.

Taylor Nolan was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, which was reported as a one-vehicle rollover at 11:41 a.m. Tuesday on Interstate 39 north of State 21 in the town of Coloma, according to a news release from Portage County Sheriff Jeff Nett. A Medford woman who was a passenger in the vehicle was taken to Ministry Saint Michael's Hospital in Stevens Point.

Police responding to the crash found a vehicle had left the roadway and both occupants had been thrown from the vehicle, the release says. The crash remains under investigation.

The death is the first traffic fatality in Waushara County this year.
