GARRARD CO., KY : 74-year-old man dead following three-vehicle crash on Sunday, 4th August 2024

The Garrard County Sheriff’s Office says 74-year-old Richard Adams died Sunday after a crash on U.S. 27 near Royalty Drive in Lancaster.

Officials say Adams crossed into the opposite lane, hit an SUV, and then crossed another lane and hit another SUV.

Deputies say the driver of the first vehicle is expected to be OK.

The driver of the second vehicle, 30-year-old Lesa Cox from Lexington was flown to UK Hospital with serious injuries.
