Simi Valley.CA : Vehicle crashes into Simi restaurant and woman cited on Wednesday ,July 8th 2015

A woman was cited for driving without a license Wednesday after the vehicle she was driving crashed into a Simi Valley restaurant, Simi Valley police said.

The crash occurred just after 1:20 p.m. in the 1300 block of Los Angeles Avenue, authorities said. A woman, 45, was leaving from her job at the Vallarta Supermarket when for unknown reasons she lost control of the vehicle and crashed it into nearby Chuy’s restaurant, officials said.

There were no pedestrians in the area at the time of the crash and no one in the restaurant was injured, police said. The vehicle was impounded and a 30-day impound hold was put in place, officials said. The woman was issued a citation at the scene for driving without a license, authorities said.
