A 95-year-old Stanley man was killed in a crash Wednesday in Stanley, according to North Dakota Highway Patrol.
The man, whose name has not yet been released, was driving a 2016 Ford F150 westbound on U.S. Route 2 at about 11:30 a.m. Tucker Hovda, 35, of Stanley, was driving a 1993 Kenworth dump truck behind the Ford.
According to Highway Patrol, the man driving the Ford lost control and began to fish tail. He entered the median, but then went back onto the roadway facing north.
Hovda's vehicle struck the Ford on its passenger side, and the Ford spun into the north ditch, eventually coming to a rest in the ditch facing south.
The crash remains under investigation.
