A Hanceville man was killed in a single-vehicle wreck Saturday in Blount County, Alabama State Troopers reported.

Carl Wallace Williams, 60, was killed when the 2004 Ford pickup he was driving left the roadway, struck a fence, and overturned.

The crash occurred at 7:30 p.m. on Blount County 47 three miles north of Blountsville. Williams, who was not using a seat belt, was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene, troopers said.

Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
