Hutchinson, KS : Two people injured in a two-vehicle crash at 6900 North Lorraine on Sunday, July 10, 2016

Reno County Sheriff's Office officials have released the names of two people who were injured in a two-vehicle crash Sunday afternoon in the county.

Steve Tuxhorn, 65, Hutchinson, was heading west on 69th and Dakota Roberds, 18, also of Hutchinson, was heading north on Lorraine.

Roberds has been released from Hutchinson Regional Medical Center's care since Monday afternoon. He was transported there Sunday with non life threatening injuries.

Tuxhorn remains in critical condition at Via Christi Hospital St. Francis. He was airlifted there on Sunday from Hutch Regional.

RNSO' deputies were sent to the intersection of 69th and Lorraine before 1 p.m. Sunday, according to the sheriff's bulletin.

They learned a man, 65, was heading west on 69th in a 2012 Dodge Avenger when he failed to yield at a stop sign and was struck by a 1985 Chevrolet Silverado driven by a man, 18, who was heading north on Lorraine.

The Hutchinson Fire Department used the Jaws of Life to free Tuxhorn from his car.

The names were released once family members were contacted.

The crash is still under investigation.
