LINCOLN COUNTY, KY : 74-year-old man killed in Lincoln County crash on Wednesday, 11th September 2024

A deadly collision in the Crab Orchard community of Lincoln County is under investigation by Kentucky State Police.

The crash occurred Wednesday afternoon near the intersection of State Road 39 and U.S. 150. According to investigators, 74-year-old Joseph Edwards was killed when the car he was riding in was struck by a pickup truck, which forced the vehicle into the path of an oncoming semi.

The driver of the car, 79-year-old Wanda Edwards, was taken to UK Hospital in Lexington. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
