A Greenville man died in a Thursday evening crash on Interstate 85.
Spartanburg County Coroner Rusty Clevenger stated Friday afternoon that Marston Dale Anderson, 67, of Roper Mountain Road, died after a collision between a car and a tractor trailer at about 5:45 p.m. Thursday.
Anderson died due to trauma sustained in the crash, according to Clevenger.
A toxicology test is still pending, he said.
S.C. Highway Patrol Cpl. Bill Rhyne said Anderson’s Ford Focus hit the tractor trailer, which was legally parked along the interstate. Anderson was wearing a seat belt and died at the scene.
