York County , SC : Pedestrian killed in crash after hit by another Vehicle along I - 77 on Saturday Morning ,January 17th 2015

The York County Coroner says a pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene of an 1-77 crash Saturday.

Officials say Stephen Anthony Mosher was hit on 1-77 northbound near exit 88.

South Carolina highway Patrol says Mosher was in a car accident and got out of his Hyundai Genesis to check on the other driver involved. That's when he was hit by a Honda sedan.

The series of accidents closed lanes of I-77 northbound early Saturday morning.

The driver of the Honda was wearing a seat belt and was not injured. Highway patrol has not said if the driver of the Honda will be charged.
