Ramsey, NJ : Man arrested, charged in hit-and-run that left pedestrian seriously hurt on Friday night, August 13, 2014
Authorities say a 27-year-old northern New Jersey man has been charged following a hit-and-run crash in Ramsey that left a New York man seriously hurt.
Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli said that Thomas M. Moylan Jr., of Mahwah, was arrested Saturday after a neighbor noticed a damaged car in a parking lot of a condominium complex. Molinelli says that the car had a broken grille and several dents and matches broken pieces of vehicle found at the scene Friday night.
Moylan faces multiple charges, including leaving the scene of an accident and driving with a suspended driver's license.
It wasn't immediately known if he had an attorney. His bail was set at $25,000.
Molinelli says the 56-year-old victim from New York City suffered a skull fracture, brain bleed and fractured pelvis.
