Fort Myers, FL : FHP investigating serious crash at South Cleveland Ave. and Airport Road on Monday, 13th January, 2020

A 55-year-old cyclist died in a Monday morning crash at South Cleveland Ave. and Airport Road in Fort Myers.

James Flesher, of Fort Myers, was riding north on South Cleveland, also known as U.S. 41, when a vehicle struck him and fled about 5:30 a.m., Florida Highway Patrol reported.

He was taken to Lee Memorial Hospital, where he died.
