LAOTTO, IN : 2 injured in Old S.R. 3 crash on Wednesday, 19th June 2019

Two Noble County residents were injured in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday morning on Old S.R. 3 at the intersection of C.R. 500S, according to Noble County police.

Gabriel L. Kugler, 20, of LaOtto, who was driving a Ford Focus, was airlifted from the scene with injuries to his lower extremities, according to Noble County Sheriff’s Department Sgt. Chris Moriarity. Kyla Solis, 18, a passenger in the Focus, was transported by EMS to an area hospital with injuries to her lower extremities.

Moriarity said David A. Wojcik, 55, of Plymouth was driving a 60,000-pound concrete pumper truck eastbound on C.R. 500S at approximately 10:55 a.m. Wednesday. Wojcik told police he did not see the stop sign at Old S.R. 3, and the left front of his truck struck the front passenger side of Kugler’s Focus as he passed through the intersection.
