Pittsburgh, PA : 1 dead, 5 injured in Washington County crash on Saturday, March 25th 2017

A woman died and five other people were injured Saturday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in Washington County, police said.

The incident occurred about 3:50 p.m. at the intersection of Malden Road and Malden Drive in California.

Six occupants of the vehicles were flown to Pittsburgh trauma centers, California police Chief Rick Encapera said in a new release.

One of them, 26-year-old Angie Givens, died shortly before 7 p.m. at Allegheny General Hospital, according to the Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office.

None of the victims have been identified.
