A 6-year-old boy has died after being struck by a car in Reisterstown, Baltimore County police said Sunday morning.

Marvin Steven Martinez, 6, of the 6900 block of Milbrook Park Drive, was hit by a Toyota 4Runner after running out from between parked cars on the 200 block of Highfalcon Road just after 3 p.m. Saturday, police said.

He was taken to Sinai Hospital and then the pediatric intensive care unit at the Johns Hopkins Children’s Center, where he died, police said.

The driver of the 4Runner immediately stopped and remained on the scene, police said. The driver was not at fault and will not be charged, county police spokeswoman Officer Jennifer Peach said.
