STILLWELL, OK : 6-year-old Stilwell girl killed in Adair County crash on Thursday, 20th June 2024

A 6-year-old girl died at the scene of a single-vehicle crash on State Highway 51 about three miles west of Stilwell in Adair County on Thursday afternoon, according to Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP).

There were three other children in the vehicle who were all taken to the hospital after the crash.

The driver of the vehicle was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

The driver and three of the children, including the 6-year-old girl, were ejected an unknown distance from the vehicle. Those who were ejected, didn't have their seat belts on, according to OHP.

OHP is still investigating the cause of the crash.
