Two pronounced dead as a result of crash

Two people have been pronounced dead following a crash on the northbound lane of Interstate 65 Friday night, The Tennessee Highway Patrol confirmed on Saturday.

The highway patrol is still investigating the wreck and has not released the names of the fatalities. A preliminary report is not available.

The interstate had been closed at exit 112 near Cross Plains, but it is now open.
