FORT COVINGTON, NY : Malone man dies in crash on Monday, 28th October 2024

A Malone, New York, man died in a single-car crash Monday morning.

New York State Police say it happened around 10:30 a.m. on Highway 37 in the town of Fort Covington. They say David Plant, 79, was driving southwest when he lost control and drove into a wooded area. He died at the scene.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
